5 PACKAGING – TRASPORT - STORAGE
PURA™ is wrapped in a nylon sheet and placed in a corrugated cardboard box.
Stability is guaranteed by cardboard fillers and by the accessories in the box.
Transport must be done according to the regulations regarding fragile goods.
There are no particular problems with storing the product; it is possible to stack up to five boxes containing
the same product and shelf life is unlimited if kept at a temperature of between 0 and 50°C.
The original packaging material must be kept during the whole guarantee period, since only with such
material it is possible to transport the product without damaging it.
Failure to comply with the above shall result in termination of the guarantee.
6 INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT:
A. DO NOT INSTALL UNDER OTHER TAPS THAT COULD WET THE WATER CLEAN.
B. DO NOT INSTALL NEAR SOURCES OF HEAT.
C. DO NOT INSTALL PURA™ OUTSIDE, FROST WOULD DESTROY THE DEVICE.
D. THE PURA™ INSTRUMENT SHOULD BE POSITIONED WITH ITS OUTLET FITTING AT A
HIGHER LEVEL THAN THE INLET FITTING OF THE AUTOCLAVE. IF THIS IS NOT DONE, THE
TAP LOCATED ON THE OUTLET FITTING WILL HAVE TO BE CLOSED DURING MAINTENANCE
WORK AND WHEN CHANGING THE FILTERING CARTRIDGES, SO THAT WATER CANNOT
ESCAPE.
E. INSTALL A TAP WITH A ¾” MALE FITTING (STANDARD CONNECTION FOR WASHING
MACHINES AND DISHWASHERS) ON THE MAINS WATER PIPE TO SUPPLY PURA™ .
F. INSTALL A WATER DRAIN LINE FOR THE WASTE WATER PRODUCED BY PURA™ . IF
NECESSARY, USE THE COLLAR SUPPLIED WITH THE INSTRUMENT (see Sec. 12, Code
SPUA035) THAT SHOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE SINK TRAP.
NOTE 1: PURA™ can be installed with the filters facing upwards, resting on the metal bracket equipped with
feet, or hanging on the wall with the filters facing downwards or upwards, and fixed by means of the holes in
the bracket.
NOTE 2: Make sure the low level led of the clean water tank of the autoclave is on; if it is not, discharge the
water from the tap on the rear panel of the autoclave (see manual for use of the autoclave).
