You can also start the downloading procedure manually
directly after switching off by pressing the
SFI key ( while the
display shows „oooo“ ) During the downloading procedure the
volume of data already downloaded will be indicated in the
display ( e.g. P038 for 38% ).
The duration of the downloading procedure depends on the
number of programmes included. Previews can extend as far
as seven days in advance. As more programmes are added
to the electronic programme guide, the volume of data incre-
ases, and the preview period is reduced correspondingly.
It is up to you to decide which programmes should be listed
in the electronic programme guide. These can be selected
and added as described in Points 8.2.4.
7.15.2 Interrupting the download procedure
The downloading procedure can be interrupted by switching
on the digital receiver (
On/Stand-by key). The SFI data of
the previous update are then available.
7.15.3 Calling up the Electronic Programme Guide
> Switch on the digital receiver as well as your television
set.
> Press the SFI key on the remote control of the digital
receiver.
The electronic programme guide will now be displayed
on screen
(Fig. 7-16) . Here the channels you have
selected, or those of the factory default settings, will
be shown with their current programmes (see also
Point 8.2 ). You can now use the SFI functions to
obtain information on the contents of the various pro-
grammes.
In addition, you can use the SFI functions to switch to
a particular programme, to mark it, or to activate it in
the timer programming function.
7.15.4 Now (Table with current programme con-
tents)
Initially, the SFI table “ Now ” (Fig. 7-17) will be displayed,
showing the programmes currently being broadcast. The yel-
low bar next to the programme name indicates the elapsed
time of the current programme. The marker indicates the pro-
gramme currently selected.
> Use the arrow keys up/down to move the marker
one line at a time.
> Use the arrow keys left/right to move through the
programme list one page at a time .
The SFI functions (Point 7.15.7) are now available.
> Press the yellow function key to go to the SFI table
“ Next ” (see Point 7.15.5)
