7. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To retain the quality and performance of this machine and to prevent unexpected troubles, the
following maintenance should be performed periodically.
7.1 Periodic Maintenance Procedure
Be sure to perform the following cleaning and checks every six months.

Visually check the outside of the unit for any
deformation, cracks, clearance, or bend.

2 Cleaning the covers
Wipe the covers with a soft dry cloth or soft cloth
slightly moistened with mild detergent. After using
detergent for cleaning, be sure to wipe it off with a
moistened cloth.

3 Cleaning the print head Clean the print head with a cotton swab slightly
moistened with alcohol.

4 Cleaning the cutter and
sensors
Remove any dust and paper particles from the
cutter, and from the sensors with an air blower or a
brush.

5 Cleaning the inside of
the printer
Remove any dust or paper particles from the inside
of the printer with an air blower or a brush.

6 Platen check
Check if the platen is stained or damaged.

Perform a print quality test with the self test print.
