Operating Procedures
Step 17
Lay the air tube in the bottom of the mix hopper for
sanitizing.
Repeat steps 16 - 17 for the other side of the
unit.
CAUTION:
Do not run the unit without
product. Failure to follow this instruction can result in
damage to the unit.
Sanitizing
Step 1
Prepare a 2-1/2 gallon (9.5 liter) pail of a
cleaning/sanitizing solution with an active chlorine
concentrate of 100 - 200 PPM (parts per million),
approved for use by your company. Use warm water
and follow the cleaning/sanitizing solution
manufacturer's specifications for dilution.
Step 2
Pour the sanitizing solution into the hopper and allow
it to flow into the freezing cylinder.

Step 3
While the solution is flowing into the freezing
cylinder, brush clean the mix hopper. When cleaning
the hopper, take particular care in brushing the mix
level sensing probe on the rear wall of the hopper,
the mix inlet hole, and the air tube.

Thoroughly clean the inside of the air tube.
