Slip clutch
NOTE
The discs (B) should be replaced as soon as they reach a thickness of 1.5
mm or earlier, if they present larger damages. To do so, loose the nuts (A)
and disassemble the clutch.
Keep away from the blades and rotating shafts until their motion has stopped.
Failure to do so may result in a serious injury.
The abnormal occurence of clutch slippage, after some time of use and not operating
with overloads indicates the need for adjusting it, due to the wearing in the discs (B).
It is important to maintain the adjustment of
28 mm
in the springs, in order to
compensate the wearing in the discs (B) and to maintain the good operation of the clutch.
