Maintenance of the wheel hubs

• Carry out disassembly of hubs and remove internal components.
• Clean all parts with kerosene or
diesel oil.
• Check for gaps, conditions of
bearings, seals and bushings and
replace damaged or excessively worn
components.
• The hubs without grease fittings
should be reassembled, with a good
quantity of lubricant.
• The hubs with grease fittings
should be lubricated until to the new
grease stay visible.
• The hubs with tapered roller
bearings fastened by castle nut and cotter
pin, allow to adjust the inside looseness,
avoiding the excessive tighten. The hubs
should rotate with a manual effort small.
Maintenance
When using graphite with treated/
inoculated seeds, it is required to
clean the seed ejectors internally
twice a day.
