The optimum operating speed
To achieve a stand of 50.000 plants per hectare at harvest, whose seed contains:
Germination rate = 95%
Physical purity = 90
Slipping rate = 1.03 (3%)
The following calculation must be made in order to know the amount of seeds to be
distributed in a hectare.
Seeds / ha at planting = 0,95 x 0,90 = 0,855
50.000 = 58.479,53 x 1.03 =

To find out the amount of seeds per meter, per 10 meters, etc., with the spacing you
set, define the number of linear meters of the cultivation in one hectare.
Example: 10.000 = 11.764,70 linear meters, then 60.233,91 =
5,1198
0,85m 11.764,70

seeds per meter.
You must maintain constant speed throughout the planting.
