When a row unit is removed from the planter, place the cover (G) over the auger
that will not be used, in order to close the fertilizer outlet.
Retighten all the sets, paying closer attention to the following
aspects:
• Tightening nuts that hold the seed row units in the chassis must
be carried out gradually, avoiding tightening each nut completely
at once.
• The same is true between one row unit and another, i.e. do not
tighten a row unit completely at once, but gradually.
• While tightening nuts of a row unit and the other ones alternately,
the hexagonal shaft must be rotated in order to maintain proper
alignment and prevent locking.
