Check the gas level
If the gas level is too low, please add gasoline to the gas tank until it reaches the
required level. Screw in the gas cap after filling.
Never use a mixture of oil and gasoline or contaminated gasoline. Prevent dirt, dust
or water from entering the gasoline tank.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive under certain conditions.
Please refuel the generator under well ventilated conditions with the engine turned
off. Smoking and naked flames are strictly forbidden near the gas-filling and
gas-storing parts of the engine,.
Be careful not to let the gas spill out when refueling the generator as vapor from
the spillage may ignite. If minor spillage occurs, make sure to dry the area before
the engine is started.
Check the air filter
Check the core of the air filter, ensure that it is clean and performs well. Remove
the repair cover, loosen the screw on the air filter cover, then remove the air filter
cover to check the core. Clean or change the core if necessary.
Note! Do not run the engine without the air filter, or dirt will enter the engine
through the carburetor, resulting in quick wear of the engine.
Start the engine
Before starting the engine, cut the power from the AC socket on the engine.
a) Turn the valve clockwise to the “open” position.
Note: When transporting the engine, you should turn the ventilating pole of the gas
cap to the “closed” position.
b) Turn the engine switch to the “on” position
c) Turn the pulling rod for the air-blocking valve to the “closed” position
Note:
When the engine is hot or the ambient temperature is relatively high, do not
use the air-blocking valve.
d) Pull the starting handle slightly until you feel pressure, then release it slowly by
hand.
Do not let it rebound.
Warning! When starting with the pull cord, the motor may recoil suddenly resulting
in hand injuries. Wear protective gloves when starting the equipment.
e) When the engine is warming up, turn the pulling rod for the air-blocking valve
to the “start” position.
• lf the engine will not restart after stopping, check the oil level before checking
for other failures.
