3.1 Installation and Running
3.1.1 Running Environment
Hardware requirements:
dual-core processor/4G or higher/Discrete graphic card/1440
×
900 (better)/DirectX 9.0 or
higher.
Software requirements:
WindowsXP or higher.
3.1.2 Installation
CD Contents
TAIDEN Digital Audio & Video Recording System for Conference application software.
Installation guide
Double click and run “Install.exe” on this CD.
Note:
The language your select is just the software language which could not be changed after this installation;
When the firewall is opened, please add the application to the exception.
3.1.3 Software Running
Once installation completed, a shortcut named “DVR 2.1” will appear on the Windows desktop. Double click it to run the
application, and the primary window is shown:

The functions of the digital audio & video recording system include: Preview, PlayBack, Download, Meeting and
Management. We take HCS-8132M as an example to introduce the operation of the digital audio & video recording
system. Operating of other devices of HCS-8130M series is comparable, only part of interfaces have little difference
because of different video and audio input on the rear panel of the device.
