Unpacking from storage
When you want to start using the COMET again:
1. Give the COMET enough time to stabilize at room temper-
ature before operating. This is particularly important when
the notebook is brought from a very cold environment into
a warm room. In such cases, moisture can condense on and
inside the notebook and can cause problems. Allow at least
two hours for the notebook temperature to stabilize after
bringing it from a very cold or very warm environment
before proceeding.
2. Reinstall the battery and charge it for three hours without
operating the COMET before attempting to operate the
COMET on battery power.
