Rudder
The 120cc Extra/Slick/Edge has been designed with flexibility for the customer in mind; therefore there are two
options for controlling the rudder, a push/pull setup or a pull/pull setup.
We have left the rudder setup until last so that you can decide which option will give you the best
centre of gravity to suit your flying style.
If you are running canisters, then consider using the push/pull setup. This method will help
counteract the weight of the canisters buy placing the rudder servos in the tail section of the
fuselage.
Note: - As this particular model is being built with canisters, we will run through the push/pull setup
method first and follow on with the pull/pull setup further on in the manual.
Horn installation
Locate the rudder hardware bag from within the accessories box. It will contain the items as shown
in the image below: -
First, take the horns and back plates and rough them up with coarse sandpaper to give the glue
something to key to. You only need to rough the centre section of the horns.
