7. Work notes
7.1. Setting the screws for limitation of height and depth (Fig. 12)
1. First switch off the tool and wait until the disc has come to a complete stop.
2. The setting screw (1) is for the depth limiter on the machine and the sawblade. En-
sure, by setting it correctly, that the work sled does not get cut. On completion of
this setting operation, guide the sled manually past the sawblade to check it while
the machine is not operating.
3. This setting screw (2) is for the height limiter on the machine and the sawblade. It
can be used to adjust the cutting depth.
7.2. Setting the angle (Fig. 13)
1. First switch off the tool and wait until the disc has come to a complete stop.
2. Align the machine horizontally to cut at an angle
of 90°.
3. Ensure that the height and depth limiter is set cor-
rectly. (see chapter 5.9)
4. To cut at an angle of 45°, align the machine at an
oblique angle (45°) (1).
5. For this, use the toggle (2) to turn the screw anti-
clockwise in order to remove it.
6. Then the angle can be adjusted between 0° and
45° by turning the handle (3) with both hands to
align the machine.
7. After setting the angle and before switching on
the tool, always ensure that the screw (2) is tight-
ened back down firmly.
8. Then ensure that the height and depth stops are set correctly (see chapter 5,9 /5).
9. After this process, you can set any other desired angle.
