Adding nodes and objects
Adding or editing in-line pairs
The Network Security console provides a way to add and edit in-line pair objects
on a 7100 Series node.
To add or edit an in-line pair

On the Devices tab, do one of the following:

Right-click the 7100 Series node object, and click
Add In-line Pair
on
the pop-up menu.
■
Right-click an existing in-line pair object, and click
Edit
on the pop-up
menu.

Add In-line Pair
or
Edit In-line Pair
, enter a descriptive name.

Expected Throughput
, click the expected throughput on the pull-down
list.

In
Pair
, click the interface pair on the drop-down list.
The selected interfaces must be cabled for in-line mode. See the

Description
, enter an optional description of up to 255 characters.

On the
Networks
tab, click
Add
, enter a network IP address in CIDR format,
and click
OK
.
Enter all networks monitored by this in-line pair.
