5 MAINTENANCE

To ensure correct operation over time, the appliance should be checked
by a qualified professional at least once a year.
IMPORTANT
: before performing any cleaning or maintenance work, or
before opening or removing the boiler panels, turn the appliance off by
shutting off the gas tap.
Check
that the flue gases passage sections of the heat exchanger are not
obstructed. Use a wet soapy cloth to clean the external panels.
Do not
use abrasive solvents, powders or sponges.
Do not
clean the appliance or its component parts with highly flammable
substances such as : petrol, alcohol or heavy oil.
Check
electrode position and distance.

6 REMOVING THE CASING
To remove the casing:
- disconnect the appliance from the electric power supply using the om-
nipolar switch
- detach the display connector

- remove the two screws

upwards releasing it from the hooks at the top

7 TROUBLESHOOTING
The appliance should be inspected by a qualified professional at least once a year to ensure it is operating correctly, prolong its life and make sure
safety is optimised. This would normally involve:
- removing any rust on the burners
- removing any build-up on the electrode
- cleaning the combustion chamber
- checking that the appliance switches on and off and operates correctly
- check the seal of the gas and water pipes and connectors.

tenance section)
The exchanger plates get dirty quickly
- Poor forced draught or dusty room
- Check exhaust flue efficiency
- Yellow flame
- Check type of gas and clean burner
- Excessive gas consumption
- Check and adjust
There is a smell of gas
- Caused by leaks in the pipe circuit. Check the
pipework to find the leak
- Do not use any electrical switches or any
object with a spark. Ventilate the room
- Contact a qualified professional
- May be caused by a blockage in the flue gas
circuit
- Check exhaust flue and flue duct efficiency
- Excessive gas consumption
- Check and adjust
