3.11 Adjustments
The boiler has already been factory set by the manufacturer.
If it is necessary to adjust it again, for example after extraordinary main-
tenance, after replacement of gas valve or after gas conversion, carry out
the following procedure.
b
Adjustments to the maximum, minimum and slow ignition values
must only be made by qualified technicians.
Read the pressure values on the pressure gauge and check that they
comply with those indicated in the technical data table.
If you need to make further adjustments:
- access the technician menu as detailed in “Parameters menu”
- set parameters PH, PL and PD

4.3 Operation
b
The first commissioning of the appliance must be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Hot water heaters are gas appliances that produce instant hot water. Hot
water can be distributed from one or more taps.
When there is a request for hot water (i.e. when a tap is turned on), the
main burner switches on and the heater heats the water inside it.
The gas flow is varied by means of a
thermostatic
device which controls
the set water temperature. The set value for this device can itself be set.
This appliance is equipped with an electronic board powered by 2 x 1.5
V D-type batteries which automatically switch on the pilot flame and then
the burner every time hot water is requested.
The board ensures that the appliance has been switched on and detects
the flame via ionisation.
