12. Troubleshooting
With this camera, you have purchased a reliable product that was built according to state of the
art. However, problems and malfunctions may still occur. Therefore, we would like to describe
here how you can solve the possible problems.
If the device is added via LAN or serial number, a warning is issued, the device is not
online or the device is not registered.
• Please make sure that your router to which the camera is connected is really connected to
the internet.
• In addition, your router must have a DHCP server and, of course, this must be activated.
• If you have manually changed the network settings of the camera or your router, it is best to
reset the camera to factory settings and then reconfigure it.
The device is online and there are also movements in the surveillance area, but you will
not receive any alarm information on your smartphone.
• Please make sure that the app is running on the smartphone, the camera is online and the
motion detection feature is enabled.
If you are using an Apple device, please open the “Notifications” feature in the iOS settings.
There are problems or error messages in the app, e.g. a camera cannot be deleted and/
or an error message is displayed.
• First close the app and restart it. If the problem persists, log in with your account in the app
on your smartphone (Logout) and then log in again (Login).
When inserting the memory card, a “Memory Card Error” error message appears.
• The camera only supports the FAT32 file system. If the card is formatted with, for example,
NTFS, reformat it. You will find the “Format” function in the camera settings.
• The size of the memory card may not exceed max. 128 GB!
• The memory card may be damaged. Reformat or replace if necessary.
