6. Installation
• First, mark the mounting position on the wall through the fastening holes in the wall bracket, if
you need to drill holes to secure the wall bracket.
Also, if necessary, drill a hole in the wall large enough to thread the connection cable through.
Please ensure that no cables or wires are damaged when drilling.
Select the mounting location such that it is protected against attempts to manipulate the
camera. The camera should therefore be mounted at a minimum height of 2.5 m.
• Either lead the connection cable sideways out of the wall bracket or put it through an existing
hole in the wall, where you want to mount the wall bracket.
In the process, protect the plug against dust and dirt, e.g. with a small plastic bag.
If the connection cable is too short (depending on the wall thickness or mounting position), use
a suitable connection box installed near the camera.
Depending on where the camera is mounted, this connection box must be suitable for outdoor
installation. Then the cable connection for the video output or the power supply can be placed in
the connection box, besides the housing with the setting dial that is on the cable of the camera.
Lay the cable in such a way that it is protected against manipulation, e.g. in a conduit or
similar.
• Screw the wall bracket with the camera mounted on it securely against the wall. Use screws
and, if necessary, suitable dowels, depending on the wall.
• To adjust the position of the camera, use the Allen key to loosen the
fi
xing screws on the wall
bracket a bit. Adjust the camera position as desired and secure the screws again.
