Resetting the telephone
You can reset the telephone to default status as follows:
Press the menu button repeatedly until the display shows »Installation«.
Press key 1. The display shows »Service menu«.
Press the softkey repeatedly under » « until the display shows »Reset full«.
execute Press the softkey under »execute«. The phone is reset to the factory setting.

»Full reset« deletes all settings e.g. call transfer procedure, EAC etc., and all the data you
have stored e.g. phonebook entries, speed dial buttons etc.
Headset connection
You can fit your Top A47 ISDN with a headset instead of the handset (optional accessory: headset
and microphone).
The headset is only available from specialist outlets. If you buy the headset in a specialist outlet,
make sure it is compatible with your Top A47
ISDN
.
For details on how to connect and operate the headset, refer to the headset instructions.
The following settings need to be made before you operate the headset:
Press the menu button until »Installation« appears.
Press the softkey repeatedly under » « until the display shows »Headset«.
change Press the softkey under »change«. The first display line shows the current sta-
tus: on or off.
Press the softkey under the alternative status in the second display line. The sta-
tus is activated.
ok
Press the softkey under »ok«. The setting is saved.
To exit the menu, hold down the EXIT button.

To conduct calls via the headset, press the loudspeaker button on your phone.

To make calls, dial the number then press the loudspeaker button.
