PBX operation
EAC
Most system require the EAC to be set to access a public line for external calls from your PBX. If
your PBX does not automatically insert the EAC, you need to program it:
Press the menu button repeatedly until the display shows »Installation«.
Press the softkey key under »
« until »PBX« is displayed.
change
Press the softkey under »change«. The display shows »PBX operation« with the
current setting (on/off, default: off).
Press the softkey key under »
« until »Outgoing EAC« is displayed.
change
Press the softkey under »change«. The cursor is positioned under the first EAC
digit.
del
If a number is already set, delete it by pressing the softkey under »del« until it
is deleted.
Enter the new EAC (up to 4 digits) as instructed by your PBX manual. 0, 9 or 99
are frequently used.
ok
Press the softkey under »ok«. The setting is saved.
To exit the menu, press the EXIT button.
