PBX operation

Keypad information

Keypad information is data which converts keypad codes (e.g. numbers) to specific functions in
the PBX. Normally the star or hash key are used to switch to keypad information.

Your PBX documentation will advise you which keypad functions are available.

Keypad before dialling

On-hook dialling:

Press the star or hash key first. The phone switches to »Keypad transfer«.

Enter the relevant keypad function. Complete the function by pressing the star
or hash key again.

Lift the handset or press the loudspeaker key if on speakerphone mode. The
keypad information is sent to the PBX.

Send keypad during a call

You are conducting a call and the display shows the calling partner’s number:

Press the softkey key under » « until »Keypad« is displayed.

Keypad

Press the softkey under »Keypad«.

Enter the relevant keypad function. The information is sent to the PBX.
