PAPER-LOW SENSOR
The printer has no paper-low sensor installed as standard. If this type of sensor should be
used, connect it to J10 on the printer control board.
NOTE! — Paper-low function require firmware version higher than 1.20
CUTTER MOTOR DRIVE CIRCUITS

The cutter motor is a 24V DC motor. A cutting operation starts with the motor turning in
one direction that moves the cutting knife upwards. The cutter-home sensor switch closes
when the knife starts moving. This is noticed by the FW. The knife reaches its upper
position and starts its downward movement. When the knife actuates the home-sensor,
the mechanism is brought to a quick stop by means of a 5 ms polarity change of the
motor supply voltage. If the knife is not back in its home position within 1 second, this will
generate error code NAK+02.
