4.3.4 Cutter module (except cutter motor assembly)
1. Remove the printer module (see 4.3.2)
2. Loosen the screws shown below on the underside of the printer.

3. Slide the cutting mechanism out of the printer housing.
REPLACEMENT
Install the cutting mechanism in the reverse order while verifying the following:
•
The horizontal part (foot) of the cutting mechanism should pass under the cutter
motor bracket.
•
The cutting arm of the cutter motor assembly should enter the corresponding cutout
in the cutting knife. You can move the arm with a flat nose screwdriver inserted
through a hole in the right hand side of the printer housing.
•
The cutting knife should be positioned above the arm of the micro switch mounted
on the cutter motor assembly.
NOTE! Apply Loctite 242 on the cutter module securing screws
4.3.5 Cutter motor assembly and cutter-home sensor
REMOVAL
1. Remove the cutter module as described in Section 4.3.4.
2. Cut the cable tie strings on the right hand side of the printer housing.
3. Remove the screw located between the loop-building ribs on top of the presenter
module.
4. Remove the cutter motor assembly.
