6.12. Longer Stop of Operation
Note:
Store all sensors with tip pointing downwards in a frost-
protected room.

Stop sample flow.

Drain the measuring cell completely.

Fill deionized water into the rubber caps of the electrodes.

Put the rubber caps on the tips of the electrodes.
Remove
bottles
5
Remove the reagent bottle and replace it by an empty one.

Remove the standard bottle from the bottle holder and close it.

If the automatic regeneration module is installed, swing down the
regeneration solution bottle, unscrew and close it. Rinse the tube
with sample water using the <Maintenance>/<Regeneration>/
<Manual Operation> menu item.
pH sensor

Unscrew and remove the connector from the pH sensor.

Put the connector cap onto the sensor connector.

Fill 2 molar KCl (if not available: water) into the rubber cap.

Remove the pH sensor from the flow cell and place the rubber
cap on the tip of the sensor.
CAUTION
Damage of pH sensor
Wrong storage will damage the pH sensor.
Never store the pH sensor dry.

electrode

Remove the electrolyte bottle from its holder.
Remember that it is punctured.

Remove the supply pipe from the electrolyte bottle

Leave the remaining electrolyte in the supply pipe.

Seal the supply pipe with a stopper.
Power off

Shut off power of the instrument.
