• Turn the adjuster bolt

clockwise until it stops.
• Tighten the locknut

to the specified torque with the adjust
bolt

held in that position.

Brake-lock adjust locknut: 9.5 N·m (0.95 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Do not turn the adjust bolt more than the given position, or the
adjust bolt may be damaged.
• Inspect the brake lock. (

• Remove the right side leg shield. (

• Remove the front box. (

• Loosen the locknut

• Disconnect the brake-lock cable

• Remove the brake hose clamp on the swingarm.
• Remove the locknut

• Remove the brake-lock arm

from the caliper.
• Disconnect the brake-lock cable

by removing the E-ring
