2-7 Onboard Indicators
GLAN LEDs
The Gb Ethernet LAN port (located
beside the COM2 port) has two
LEDs. The yellow LED indicates
activity while the other LED may be
green, orange or off to indicate
the speed of the connection. See
the table at right for the functions
associated with the second LED.

Overheat LEDs
Four LEDs (two on the X5DAL-G/
X5DAL-TG2: D3 and D4) to indicate
overheat conditions are included
on the X5DA8/X5DAE. These are
located right behind the parallel
port (behind the mouse/keyboard
p o r t s o n t h e X 5 D A L - G / X 5 D A L -
TG2) and are based on Intel pre-
defined temperature thresholds.
"Hot" is a warning that the tem-
p e r a t u r e i s g e t t i n g t o o h i g h .
"Therm" when lit indicates that
power for the corresponding CPU
has been shut down. See the
table at right for the functions as-
sociated with each LED.
