5-9 Onboard Indicators
LAN LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located on the I/O
backplane) have two LEDs. On each
port: the green LED
fl ashes to indicate
activity while the other LED may be
green, amber or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. See the table
on the right for the functions associ-
ated with the connection speed LED.
LAN1/2 LED
(Connection Speed Indicator)

Off No Connection or 10 Mb/s
Green 100 Mb/s
Amber 1 Gb/s
Onboard Power LED (LE1)
An Onboard Power LED is located at
LE1. When on, this LED indicates the
system power is on. Be sure to unplug
the power cable before removing or
adding any components. See the table
on the right for more details.

System Heartbeat LED
A System Heartbeat LED is located
at LE4. When on, this LED indicates
