5-10 Onboard Indicators
LAN1/LAN2 LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the
VGA port) have two LEDs. On each
Gigabit LAN port, one LED indicates ac-
tivity when blinking while the other LED
may be green, amber or off to indicate
the speed of the connection. See the
table on the right for the functions asso-
ciated with the connection speed LED.

Onboard Power LED
An Onboard Power LED is located at
LE3 on the motherboard. When LE3 is
on, it means that the AC power cable
is connected, the power supply switch
and soft switch are on, and the system
is running.
BMC Heartbeat LED
A BMC (IPMI) Heartbeat LED is located
at LE5 on the motherboard. When LE5
is blinking, BMC is functioning nor-
mally. See the table at right for more
information.

IPMI Dedicated LAN LEDs
An IPMI Dedicated LAN port is also lo-
cated on the I/O back panel. The amber
LED on the right indicates connection
and activity, while the green LED on the
left indicates the speed of the connec-
