T-SGPIO 1/2 & 3-SGPIO 1/2 Headers
Two T-SGPIO (Serial-Link General Pur-
pose Input/Output) headers are provided
on the motherboard. These headers are
used to communicate with the enclosure
management chip in the system. See the
table on the right for pin definitions.
Unit Identifier Switch/UID LED
Indicators
A Unit Identifier (UID) Switch and a UID
LED Indicator (LE4) are located towards
the back of the motherboard. The UID
Switch is located next to the VGA port
on the back panel. The rear UID LED
(LE4) is located next to the UID Switch.
When you press the UID switch, the rear
UID LED (LE4) will turn on. Press the
UID switch again to turn off LE4. The
UID Indicator provides easy identification
of a system unit that may be in need of
service.
Note:
The UID can also be triggered
via IPMI on the motherboard. For more
information on IPMI, please refer to the
IPMI User's Guide posted on our website
