Removing the Rear Backplanes
1. Power down the system as described in section 4-2 and remove the chassis
cover.
2. Slide the chassis tray out the rear of the chassis (detail in previous section).
3. Disconnect the cabling to the backplanes.
4. Remove the screws that secure the backplane bracket. There are two on each
side of the chassis, three on the chassis floor, and two on the top of the bracket.
5. Gently ease the backplane bracket up and out of the chassis.
To install the backplane assemblies, reverse the procedure.
