4-9. Sliding the Rear Chassis Tray
A movable tray fills the top of the chassis rear. It can be moved to access the rear
backplane and JBOD control board.
Opening the Rear Tray
1. On the outside of the chassis, remove the two screws securing the rear tray
to the chassis.
2.
On the inside of the chassis, find the spring-loaded pin that holds the tray in the
chassis. When looking from the front of the chassis over the fans, the release
pin is on the left side and inside the tray.
3. Pull on the spring-loaded release pin, and slide the tray to the rear of the chassis,
revealing the floor of the chassis.
