Quick Start
Start with the computer to prepare WinDyn.

Open desired Test Group

Check for torque zero and weather conditions

Enter data file name and set “Start At” to the desired number

Set System File Path (folder) where data will be stored

Check Vehicle Specifications. Modify if necessary

Enter Test Description notes specific to the test
Prepare the vehicle for testing

Zero all sensors by pressing Autozero on the Handheld and then pressing All Channels.
8)
Load the vehicle on to the dyno; see section 6.4 for instructions.
9)
Select a method for obtaining engine speed. See Section 6.8 for instructions.
10)
Connect any additional sensors to the vehicle.
Use the Handheld to run the test.

Test
Displays the Test screen
Select Test
Select the desired Test Profile number, press Enter
Start Test
Follow the on screen instructions to perform the test

Run the test as directed on the handheld display.
13)
Allow the engine to cool before turning it off and stop the rolls before getting out of the
vehicle.
14)
Return to the Computer to analyze the data.
Press “Shift F3” on the computer keyboard to open the saved test file dialog.
Select the desired file.
Use the WinDyn Stored Data Viewer to analyze, print, and plot the data.

Remove the vehicle from the dyno. See section 6.7 for details.
