Troubleshooting section
I n the following section of this manual you will find a chart with the most common problems
that may occur during work, and how to solve them before calling maintenance service.
PROBLEM Probable cause Remedy
Clogged or stuck
seed on plastic
tube for seed
discharge
Dirty seeds. Use clean dry seeds.
Move the planter backwards
with the opener discs in contact
with the ground.
Do not move backwards the
planter unless it´s lifted
previously.
With a very humid soil, lower the
planter before starting to move.
Lower the opener discs once the
planter is already moving.
Opener discs with wear that rub
the plastic seed tube and wear
it.
Take care of the maintenance
required to the bearings of the
opener discs ´hubs
Stuck or clogged
Fertilizer tubes
Humid fertilizer
Use dry fertilizer without lumbs or
clods
Move the planter backwards
with the opener discs in contact
with the ground.
Do not move backwards the
planter unless it´s lifted
previously.

No seed planting
or fertilization can
