8. Check if the pressure of the turning brakes of the left wheels is correct. (Figure 13)
this allows to move normally during work. Loosening the A square head set screw,
shown in figure 12, you will ease turning of the wheels, adjusting it the turning friction
will increase making it harder to turn.
9. Descent completely the planter and place in the elevation cylinders the hydraulic
cylinder depth stops shown as A in figure 9. By doing so the lifting capabilities are
limited to only what is needed during planting tasks, where greater elevation is not
required. This reduces time and distance when it comes to lowering and lifting into
the soil.
10. With these steps accomplished the planter will be ready to work. Contracting totally
the hydraulic cylinders, the planting units will be in total contact with the terrain, when
the planter starts to move forward, the contact drive wheel will start turning, and the
markers will be able to descent.
IMPORTANT!
It is very important that the planter obeys the direction of
the tractor. Check the correct position of the turning locks and the correct
adjustment of the turning locks
