Preparing your wheelchair for use
Fitting hanger/footrests
-infinitely adjustable hanger/
footrest
Offer the footrest/hanger assembly
to the chair as shown (Fig. 5).
Position the locating tube into the
frame receiver and swing the
hanger forward “A” to lock.
To swing away the footrest, push
the retaining catch on the hanger
whilst turning the footrest outward.
Lift to remove.
The footrest can be adjusted for
height. To adjust, slacken using
the socket key, the set screw in the
adjustment collar and set extension
tube to the required height.
Re-tighten the screw to secure
position.

Footplate angle adjustment
90 o hangers (optional)
To adjust the angle of the footplate
(Fig. 6) loosen the two retaining
screws (1) sufficiently to allow the
footplate (2) to rotate (use a 4mm
Allen key). Rotate the footplate to
the desired angle and tighten the
screws to 8-19Nm torque.

Forwards/backwards
adjustment (optional)
The footplate can also be moved
forwards by removing the screws
(1), moving the footplate forwards
and aligning the two rear holes
in the footplate (2) with the holes
in the receiver (3). Replace the
screws and tighten as above.
