Push the seat lever forward & lift the seat off.

Remove the battery box securing pin.

Lift the battery box off the scooter.

Place the battery box on a suitable work surface.

Invert the battery box to expose the 7 screws. Note

that screws 3 & 4 are shorter than the rest.
