5 BEEPS
If for any reason the water temperature reaches over 77º C, to avoid overheating, the
machine will stop and beep as follows:
5 beeps
Pause 4”
5 beeps
Pause 4”………and so on.
This means error code F5.
In this case the error will be in the ELECTRONIC CARD.
Since, if this occurs, it indicates that the heating resistance is correct. In addition, the
possibility that an NTC has not previously detected temperatures such as 45, 55 or
65 ºC, (these would make us continue with the wash program), but does detect 77º
C, is very remote.
Summarising, this means that although the NTC temperature reading is correct, the
electronic card does not read it.
Another possibility is that the NTC detects the control temperatures, but the card’s
relay may stay stuck; this would cause the machine to continuously heat up, and the
NTC might detect 77º C. However, as the relay forms part of the electronic card, the
analysis would be the same.
Also, even if the NTC’s cable or installation was cut, we could discount an error in
the NTC, since if that were the case, its own fault code would be indicated, which is a
“fault in the NTC”, and also poor card contact.
