Description of all Functions
WHAT IS VENTILATED DRYING?
Some high-range models have what is called ventilated drying. In this, the steam
created in the
fi
nal rinse of a wash process is expelled by a ventilator, to speed up
drying.
This ventilator has two chambers: aspiration and expulsion (see
fi
gure 1, below).
These create a closed circuit between the ventilator, the Air break, and the interior of
the drum.
This steam from the interior of the dishwasher (see
fi
gure 2. below) passes through
the steam exit in the upper part, “A”, and is drawn in by the ventilator (aspiration
chamber), “B”, and then passes through part of the Air break, “C”.
Once the steam is in the expulsion chamber, “D”, it is expelled to the interior of the
dishwasher through the steam exit in the lower part “E”.
