f. Verify that the following settings are correct:

g. If any setting is incorrect, perform the following steps:

ii. Search the file to locate the filer IP address, which should be immediately
below the local host IP address.
iii. Correct the filername IP address.
iv. Reboot by typing:
The broadcast address and interface flags are automatically corrected.
4. If the problem persists, contact your local Sun service provider.
Cannot Ping the Array on the Network
1. Check to make sure you can ping other hosts on the network.
2. Verify that you have set the correct array hostname and IP address.
Check to ensure that the hostname or IP address is located in the
/etc/hosts
file.
3. Check the integrity of the cable connections.
4. If the problem persists, contact your local Sun service provider.
