Appendix D - DualWave Waveform
The DualWave (THERMAL mode) waveform is an aperiodic 1 MHz damping
burst of RF energy that repeats for a maximum of 125 milliseconds and is
followed by 415 milliseconds of dead time. The waveform is repeated until
the procedure time ends (see figure 51).
Within the six millisecond bursts, the following occurs:
1. a damped sinusoid burst is output and lasts about 10 microseconds (μs),
2. a delay of no output occurs and lasts a random amount of time,
3. steps 1. and 2. are repeated for six milliseconds.
The random length delays result in a aperiodic train of bursts.
