Maintenance and inspections
8.1
Special safety guidelines
CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to non-observance of the safety guidelines
There is a risk of accidents if the general safety guidelines are not observed.
All safety guidelines must be observed, see Chapter 2.
8.2
Measures for environmental protection
RECYCLING
Dispose of components as well as auxiliary and operating materials according to the local guidelines
in a correct and environmentally-friendly way.
8.3
General points
The GCLS switching points are checked as part of a performance check of the machine.
8.4
Maintenance and inspection intervals
In principle, no maintenance work or inspections are necessary for the GCLS.
8.4.1
Cleaning
Dust deposits on the housing of the GCLS are irrelevant in terms of the function. The dust can be removed during
maintenance of the machine with a dry cloth.
NOTICE
Damage to the GCLS caused by cleaning agents/solvents
Contact with cleaning agents or solvents may lead to damage.
Any contact with cleaning agents or solvents must be avoided.
NOTICE
Damage to the GCLS due to contamination
Dust deposits on the GCLS must not be removed with compressed air.
By cleaning with compressed air, dust can enter the contact and the gear, and affect the switching
capacity.
Never hold a compressed air jet in an open housing.
Only use dry cloths for cleaning.
NOTE
The housing cover seals must be replaced as necessary after repeated opening of the housing
cover.
