The oil hoses between the lubricator and the vacuum pumps are to be renewed every
2nd year.
2.1.2 Silencer
The silencer is to be equipped with a check valve, which provides that the pump runs
backwards when it is stopped.
For collecting waste oil there is a stub in the bottom of the silencer, which is connection
to a collection bottle with a nylon hose. The hose is to be renewed every 2nd year.
Every 3rd year the silencer is to be checked for clogging. This should be made by an
authorized service fitter.
2.2 VACUUM
TANK
The vacuum tank is equipped with a lid, which automatically opens and closes the tank
for condensed water.
The lid gasket is to be renewed every 2nd year.
2.3 DRIVING
MOTOR
Normally the vacuum pump is run by an electric motor, which always must be secured
with a motor protection.
Check - at least once every half year - that the V-belt is neither too tight nor too loose,
when it is pushed approx. 1 cm down with a light finger.
The V-belt is to be renewed every 2nd year.
2.4 VACUUM
REGULATOR
2.4.1 Weight Strained Valve
The valve is to be placed vertically, so that the plumb can turn smoothly on the valve
cone without friction, which could cause inaccuracy of the valve.
Part of the dust, which is sucked with the air through the valve, will be deposited on the
valve cone, causing a too high an not sturdy vacuum and therefore it must be cleaned
when needed, this means at least every 3rd month.
The dirty parts are washed in lukewarm soap water. The lid gasket is exchanged every
2nd year.
