1. 3.5” Form Factor SATA Mirror Drive Functions
Incorporating two SATA 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drives, Storage Vision’s
3.5” Form Factor SATA Mirror
Drive uses mirroring technology to safeguard data and to provide uninterrupted operations.
Since the host computer will recognize the
SATA Mirror Drive as a standard SATA HDD, installing the
SATA Mirror Drive simply involves connecting it to a SATA cable from the host computer.

Supports Mirroring technology (RAID Level 1) implemented via hardware thereby reducing system
overhead.

In the event that one of the drive unit fails, the SATA Mirror Drive will continue to function,
maintaining data integrity.

When the failed disk is replaced with a new replacement disk, data rebuilding will begin
automatically.
- Hot plug function is supported at drive interface thereby improving system reliability.

Based on the industry standard Serial ATA interface, the SATA Mirror Drive can be used like any
other standard Serial AT HDD.
