Container
Solvent and oil-based media: Observe local regulations. Only use conductive metal containers, placed on an earthed
surface such as concrete.
NOTE:
Do not place the container on any non-conductive surfaces such as paper or cardboard, as these can interfere with
earthing continuity.
Earthing a metal container
Connect one end of an earthing wire to the container and the other end to a good
earthing point, such as a water pipe.
Power requirements
Use an extension cable with an undamaged earthing contact. If an extension cable is
necessary, use a 3-wire, 12 AWG cable (2.5 mm2) at the very least.
Earthing contact when flushing or relieving pressure
Hold a metal part of the spray gun firmly to the side of an earthed metal container.
Then trigger the gun.
Operation
Procedure for relieving pressure
1.
Turn power OFF. Wait 7
seconds for power to dissi-
pate.
2.
Lock gun trigger safety.
Remove guard and nozzle.
3.
Turn pressure to lowe-
st setting. Trigger gun to
relieve pressure.
4.
Place the drain tube in the
container. Turn the suction
valve to the DRAIN positi-
on (vertical).
