GPS Antenna / USB Ports
SSUSB2 Dual USB Extension
From the HEIGH10 Box:
GPS Antenna
Parts Needed:
The GPS Antenna is required for
proper operation of Apple CarPlay
and Android Auto.
1. Place the GPS antenna, facing
up, on the metal bar above the radio
location. Leave enough cable to plug
the blue connector into the back of
the radio module.
2. Bundle and secure excess cable in
the back of the radio opening.
The SSUSB2 Dual USB is designed to
extend the two USB ports on the back
of the HEIGH10 to where they are
accessible
once the radio is installed.
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and any
Firmware Updates require access to
a USB port.
Refer to page 17 in the
HEIGH10 Installation Guide for more
information regarding the USB Ports.
In this section we will show how to
replace the original 12 volt power
outlet with the dual USB port.
You may chose to follow these
steps, or mount the dual USB port
somewhere else in the vehicle.
