Observe the following safety regulations in
all cases:

Observe the safety guidelines for LPG
trucks
●
Only allow trained personnel to fill the LPG
tank
●
Only fill the LPG tank at filling stations in
which compressed gases in pressurised
gas containers are filled exclusively for your
own use ("filling stations that do not require
prior authorisation").
●
Before connecting the pistol-type nozzle,
check whether the LPG tank (1) or the fit-
ting (2) exhibit any defects.
●
Adhere to the inspection intervals in the
pressure vessel code. The most recent in-
spection date marked on the container is
the date that applies. Do not use containers
with an expired inspection date.
●
If defects are detected or if the inspection
deadline has passed, do not fill the LPG
tank.
●
The piping and related accessories for gas
in the liquid phase and in the LPG container
must not be exposed to an impermissible
level of heat.
●
Explosions involving a gas cylinder or an
LPG system must always be reported im-
mediately (in Germany, to the employers' li-
ability insurance association and the re-
sponsible industrial inspectorate). Store
damaged components until the investigation
has been completed.
●
Replace removable LPG containers in stor-
age rooms only when there is no risk of an
explosive atmosphere being produced.
●
Observe the national regulations for the
country in which the truck is being used.
NOTE
We recommend refuelling the truck before
starting work and when the engine is cold. If
there is a major difference in temperature be-
tween the storage tank out in the open and the
LPG tank on the truck, the delivery pressure of
the pump may no longer be sufficient to en-
sure that filling occurs properly.
