In this menu, specify which heat pumps are the primary heat pump
and the secondary heat pumps. The primary heat pump controls
the complete cascade. Some settings can be made on the second-
ary heat pumps. If there is communication between the primary
and secondary heat pumps, the heat pump ID is displayed on the
secondary heat pump screen.

If you make changes in this menu, all the heat pumps must
be restarted.

If the primary heat pump is not communicating with the
secondary heat pump, reinitialise the secondary heat pump.
Restart the secondary heat pump. Observe the chapter “Com-
missioning / Commissioning cascades”.
Possible causes for faulty communication can be found in chapter
“Commissioning / Commissioning cascades / Messages”.

Activate or deactivate the function.
When the function is activated, multiple heat pumps can be in-
stalled in the heating system.

Can only be adjusted if the “Cascade control” function is activated.

Note
Use this menu item if further heat pumps of the same
series are installed in your heating system.
Can only be activated if the “Cascade control” function is switched
on and the heat pump is set up as a primary heat pump.

When this function is activated, further heat pumps of the same
series can be set up.
Number of secondary WPE-I H Premium
Can only be activated if the “WPE-I H Premium heat pumps” func-
tion is switched on.

Set the number of secondary heat pumps that can be con-
trolled by the primary heat pump.

Can only be activated if the “Cascade control” function is switched
on and the heat pump is set up as a primary heat pump.
