7.

Let go of the basket handles and make sure the side latches engage over the top
edge of the basket on both sides. If necessary, push the basket down using the
basket handles until both side latches are engaged.

8.

On the sonic irrigator, pull the lid down and then
pull the lid handle towards you to fully close the
lid.

NOTE

If the lid handle is pulled towards you before the lid is in the closed position,
the lid locks will not be able to engage and the lid cannot close properly. If that
occurs, push the lid handle away from you and make sure that the lid is in the
closed position before pulling the lid handle towards you.
