Si Multi Basket — Loading Instruments

1.

Inspect the basket. Make sure all flush ports and manifolds are clean and in a good
condition. See

Basket Care and Inspection

on page 33.

2.

The instrument tip should be open to allow for cleaning of all surfaces.

3.

Push the luer hose tail into the main flush port
on the instrument housing. The main flush port
is normally marked with the da Vinci flush port
symbol and a

4.

Feed the shaft of the instrument through a
circular cutout in the basket support.

5.

Place the housing-end of the shaft into an aligned slot in the other basket support.
Never place the instruments at an angle inside the basket.
