polling call to the selected vessel.

6. After a polling call is transmitted, if the

reply signal is not received, “

WAIT FOR

ACK

” is shown on the display which

means the

GX1200E

is waiting for the

vessel you called to send an acknowl-

edgement.

7. To transmit the call again, press the

RESEND

soft key.

8. When the

GX1200E

receives an

acknowledgement from the polled
